TWO- Buy a map or download one from the Internet to get a sense of direction in advance.
THREE- Change currency at your hometown bank or airport to save time later.
FOUR- Bring one piece of luggage and one carry-on luggage because generally, the porters will only help you with one piece of luggage.
FIVE- To avoid jet lag and to take advantage of that extra time to rest don't drink alcohol or caffeine on the plane.
SIX- Reset your watch immediately, once you arrive sleep and eat meals at local time and don't look back.
SEVEN- Choose a centrally located hotel that allows you to walk to most of your entertainment and dining.
EIGHT- Make every second count and if walking to a specific destination is extensive splurge and take a taxis or find out if the hotel offers shuttle services.
NINE- Consider a tour which provides transportation, an educated guide to explain all the sites and allows you to pack the most into a short period of time.
TEN- RELAX !! Don't feel you have to see everything and rush through all the sites. Spend time at the most important places and remember you can see it again next time.
